Exhibition of French artist Robert Combas opens to rave reviews
The exhibition, organized by Parisian art gallery owner Laurent Strouk in conjunction with Top Marques Events, was inaugurated last Saturday at a vernissage at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum attended by more than 500 art collectors, friends and admirers of Robert Combas’ work.
The effect of the colorful masterpieces hung in the 4000 metre square expanse of the Diaghilev was immediate. One guest said: “I thought the exhibition was absolutely stunning, it brought tears to my eyes.”
Meanwhile another said: “We saw the exhibition at Touquet and then at Vence, but the exhibition in Monaco is fabulous. The presentation and the venue is staggering.”
For the art journalist Helene Jourdan Gassin the presentation of « one of the french artist that I considere as one of the most important of this generation » was « unbelievable and striking”.
The Robert Combas exhibition will run until September 11th. Entry cost 10 euros with a special price of 16 euros for the Robert Combas and Bacon exhibition, also at the Grimaldi Forum.
