Record Number of Visitors Attend 14th Edition of Top Marques
THE Principality of Monaco was alive with the sight – and sound – of supercars last weekend during the annual Top Marques Monaco auto show.
More than 45,000 people visited Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum during the four days where they discovered a magical collection of world premiere supercars, futuristic flying cars, cars coated in diamonds and even one with two gold fish swimming around inside!
But the marvellous spectacle of colour and state-of-the-art technology did not stop at the doors of the show, held in association with the Edmond de Rothschild group. The event has become a highlight of the supercar calendar and car lovers were also able to enjoy an unprecedented display of rare and luxurious vehicles circuling the streets of Monaco during the show, which ended last Sunday.
Manoj Bairstow, managing director of Top Marques Monaco, said last night : « We say it every year, but this edition of Top Marques really was an incredible show of technology, innovation and the very best in luxury products, and in my mind, our greatest Top Marques to date.
« The atmosphere in the Grimaldi Forum and around Monaco throughout Top Marques was electric, and we were delighted with the number of visitors that came over the four days.
« Each year the attendance numbers grow significantly. We are now seeing visitors from all over the world at Top Marques which is a testament to the quality of our exhibitors,” said Mr Bairstow, speaking on behalf of his partners Steven Saltzman and Mederic del Monaco.
