TOP Marques Monaco “eclipsed the dreams” of its organizers’ in terms of innovation and sales.

 

Co-owner of the Monaco auto show Manoj Bairstow said the 13th edition had been the event’s “best one yet”, with an unprecedented number of sales both in the Supercar Hall and Watches Pavilion.

 

“The 2016 edition of Top Marques Monaco eclipsed our dreams in terms of innovation and sales, and we were delighted with the number of visitors the show attracted,” said Mr Bairstow, speaking on behalf of his partners Steven Saltzman and Mederic del Monaco.

 

Figures show that on the first three days of the event, held in the Grimaldi Forum from April 14th to 17th, a record number of tickets were sold. 

 

In total approximately 42,000 visitors attended the 13th edition of Top Marques, sponsored for the fourth consecutive year by the private bank The Edmond de Rothschild Group.

 

Highlights of the show, opened by Monaco’s Minister of State Serge Telle and Top Gear presenter Eddie Jordan, included the ArcaBoard, a ‘flying carpet’ which made its first ever public flight in front of crowds at the inauguration ceremony.
