ROMEO FERRARIS HISTORY
Factory
The activities of the Ferraris’ workshop range from the electronic and mechanical tuning of road and racing cars to the normal activities of customer care (Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Bosch Car Service). In an area of over 2000 mq there are 9 car decks, 2 engine test bench rooms, a 4x4 test bench room and equipment for the manufacturing of mechanical parts. In the pursuit of technology that all along features Ferraris’ world, the Workshop has a research and progress department for specific products and tuning, like sporting exhaust systems, engine upgrade kits, brakes systems and sporting set ups, all produced in the Racing Department.
Race department
Since 1959 Romeo Ferraris has being dedicating to tuning motors of racing cars, to the assistance of GT and Turism cars and to building competition prototypes. After having won the title of Italian Champions in the Italian Turismo Sara GT Championship (GT Cup class) and in the Coppa Italia championship, the Romeo Ferraris, in collaboration with AeffeM Team, will be again one of the stars of the season 2010, taking part to important Italian and International Championships, first of all the Superstars Series International Championship and GT Sprint. Moreover the Romeo Ferraris will take part to the Italian Gran Turismo Sara GT Championship with Ferrari F430, to the Trofeo Abarth, to the Coppa Italia, to the Turismo Endurance Championship and to the Endurance Open Series with the Cinquone, prototype on the base of the Abarth 500 fully designed by Romeo Ferraris and able to develop a power of 360 hp.
